Howdy Xanga Friends
I have decided to hang up my xanga site. I really haven't updated frequently over the past year, and don't expect to start again soon. I started this site as a means to keep up with friends and as a way to practice writing and express my opinions. However most of my friends have abandoned xanga for greener pastures and I've done the same by joining many of them on Facebook. I have also found other outlets for my writing, so both purposes for xanga have been obviated by other avenues. I am having an archive compiled that I will store for posterity and plan to leave the blog up as long as xanga will allow me. I do plan to stay subscribed to a few xanga sites via RSS feed, but other than that this will be the end. Xanga was a great web home for the past three years, but it's time to move on.

Word. Facebook is really like microblogging in terms of how much info we can get on you on a daily basis.
I still have my xanga, but I don't use it the way I used to either. Catch you on fb!
PS - what a nice photograph in your Christmas card. You had one amazing photographer :)
